Privacy policy

The short version: the calculator does not ask for or keep anything about you, and there are no accounts to create. This page sets out the longer detail of what is and isn't collected on ptoaccrual.com.

The numbers you enter stay with you

Salary, hours, dates, balances — everything you type into the tools is processed right inside your browser and is never transmitted to us or stored on a server. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the interface stays consistent across sessions; wiping the site's stored data resets it to the default.

Analytics

To understand which tools get used and whether pages load quickly, the site uses a privacy-respecting analytics measurement. It reports only aggregate, non-identifying signals — such as page views, approximate region, and device type — and is not used to work out who any individual visitor is.

Advertising

The site may carry advertising from third-party networks, including Google. Those networks can set cookies or use similar technology to choose and measure ads, sometimes informed by your earlier browsing. You can manage personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings and through the industry opt-out tools, and your browser lets you block or clear cookies whenever you like.

Hosting

Pages are delivered as static files over a content-delivery network. As with any host, that provider records short-lived technical logs — including IP address and browser type — for security and reliability. We do not link those logs to your use of the tools or to anything that would single you out.

With no sign-in and no stored profile, there is nothing held here to hand back or erase on request — though the cookies and local storage in play stay fully under your control through the browser.
